Today was... a rough day. The hardest day in a while.

New student, a little 9 year old girl:

A: "So what music do you like to listen to?"
K: "...TECHNO!"

Today... parents are visiting, I got a promotion and a raise and it was the end of an era. An era that made me so stressed out that I have started drinking wine with dinner and watching my hair turn gray (literally). Now I can pay my student loans, now I no longer have to work on weekends... a good day. Yes, a very, very good day.

Lots o' good things today.

October has always been a good month. Regionals, changing weather, Halloween, when boys become men and girls become women. And sometimes boys become women and girls become boys. It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world.

There was a doggie at work all day today. AND. I'M AN ADULT.
