Okay, so it's late and this is gonna show up as Saturday, but let's all pretend that it's still Friday because thats what I'll talk about.
Today was the first day of the new holiday season. I went Christmas shoppin with my mom and Craig and got everybody's gift. And I mean everybody. The worst part was driving with my mom in heavy traffic. For all of you who know my mom, you know what this may be like. For those of you who don't, I'll just say it wasn't pleasant. Anyhow, I'm glad all the shopping is done. Then I went to the new Bond movie with my mom and dad. It was a typical Bond movie, same plot, characters, etc. as usual. Tomorrow is Christmas decoration day. Yay!
Ya know what? I think Alyssa's right with this wishing thing. It may be nice, but I really don't think wishing really achieves anything. Not that I really wish for anything rational anyway. My wishes always have a very slim chance of coming true just because I always wish for off-the-wall things, like world peace or never to get sick again. I also think I've wished on a plane more than once in my lifetime. Not that planes are bad, I bet Chris would be jumping for joy to hear that someone else wishes on planes; stars just seem more magical. Anyhow, some of my wishes have come true, but how do I know that it's not just mere chance? I guess I'll just have to trust the wishing people. I like to wish, I'm not going to give it up just for skepticsim.
This is so weird. I keep thinking tomorrow is gonna be Sunday, but it's NOT! It's the weekend that keeps on giving.

There once was a girl who played flute. Today, she just happened to have a concert. It went really well and she was pleased. She had a solo and both of her grandmothers came. The men all stayed home and watched football.
During the concert, the air conditioning was really powerful. Everybody's music kept falling off the stand. It was fun, almost like a game to try to keep the music on. She had a solo and it was really dumb. But she played it. They had the coolest cover for the programs. They took pictures they had taken of the orchestra and turned them into charcoal drawings and they are the cover of the various programs of the year. This concert, they had a picture of a cello player (we were all fighting about wether it was Emily or not. I don't think it is.). The concert after the next, they have the Symphonic flute players on the cover....all except me. C'est la vie, tant pis pour toi.
Ouch I just hit my foot on the chair. That really hurt.

I think I need sleeping pills.....
Today? A very uneventful day spent doing homework and going to a BSYO dress rehersal. That's a good thing, I needed a break from life. Though I didn't really get much done. The most exciting thing that happened was the shuttle launch, which I saw about two seconds ago. It was quite possibly the most beautiful lauch I've seen, with all its contrast to the night sky.
Have you ever done something that was really stupid or really embarassing that you just couldn't stop thinking about later, even though you couldn't change it? I mean, there's not much you can do about something once it's over. You cannot turn back time, and life comes with no erasers. So now that it's over, you should say, "Oh well," and be done with it. But no. Your brain must constantly bring it up day after day just to torture you. The worst part is, THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO. You want to just erase it from your memory forever. The other people involved have probably long forgotten it while you are still beating yourself up, thinking "How could I have said that?!?" or "How could I have done that?!?" Well, I am here to say forget it. Forgive yourself or you will never be happy again. I still agree with Schwindt when he says it's so much easier to forgive other people that it is to forgive yourself. Stop dwelling on it, because it probably wasn't as bad as you are making it out to be in the first place. Even if it is, it's over. Nobody but you really cares anymore. So just get over it and get on with your life.
Now, I am the world's best hypocrite. Hooray!

When I realized everything was going to be okay, I stopped worrying and went back to bed.

Ya know what? Don't tell me how much you don't like Mr. Schwindt. Don't tell me bad things about him in an effort to get me to not like him. Because it's not going to work. I have the greatest amount of respect for him. And that's not going to change, no matter how much you complain to me about him.
Furthermore, do not complain about how much you hate doing full orchestra. If you hate it so much, DONT BE IN IT. Jeez. Judging from the amount of time we spend there, I'd say the conductors hate it, too. I joined that class not to practice on jazz band days nor to cram for the bio test one block early, but to play in a perfroming group.
Thats my rant for the day. Do not be offended, it is to no one in particular.
Now for some unrelated thoughts!
No one cared anymore. They copied tapes despite the FBI warning. I guess the FBI doesn't mean anything nowadays.
Ice-T's name is a drink. Get it? Iced tea? Oh, that one cracks me up.
My flute student calls me Mrs. Ashley. I think thats funny.

Today I went on the most pointless journey I have ever taken in my whole life. The band loaded on 5 buses, drove 1 1/2 hours to Piontcienna hs, watched the band for a while, and went home. The intention of the journey was to go to a football game. When we were there, there was a lot of time when we were just sitting on the buses waiting for something to happen. A stupid girl named Marissa wandered out of her bus. Wid yelled funny things at her and she said (with my interpretation) "I am really stupid."
Then Mike said "Marissa puts the dumb in stupid."
The way home was pretty much hello. We were all wet and the bus was about 30 degrees lower than outside because we had air conditioned buses. I was very much hungary and wet and very very cold. I tried to sleep but could not so I leaned against the window and rested my eyes and pretended to be asleep. That is definitaly an Ash thing, pretending to be asleep when I am not and trickin everyone.
Hmm I really need to fix the time thing on here. I love bloggers because I can ramble and have bad grammer and only talk about myself and nobody will care. This is fun!

Today was a really, really good day. I woke up 15 minutes late but still managed to get ready in half the time I usually do. then I went to band and it was fun. I aced my test in (hopefully) history and got a 100 on my vocab SAT test. Then I went to orchestra and we actually did full orchestra though I still had time to study for the dreaded bio test. At the test, I used my Atlantis magical testing pencil which I dont think works because the only time I used it recently I got a 77 but I decided to give it another try. I think I did really good on it, hopefully enough to solidify my 90/A in the class. There was a section from the book about mutations that he didnt say was on the test but was there anyway. Gina mentioned this to Collier, and he said "Go back to your seat" Later that period I mentioned it to him and he said "Ill have to check that." I think its funny how he hates freshman so much. Im glad Im not a freshman anymore. So then school is out and I go to Harry Potter with the Common Mafia + Alan. Before we went to the movie, we walked around waterford lakes a bit and went into the pet store. There was the cutest little puppy there and I wanted to take it home with me. Then we saw the flick which wasnt very good but I loved it. Lockhart=Mr. Ryon. My favo character is Colin Creevey because he reminds me of myself. Anyhow, after the movie we went to mikes house and watched the last couple top 100 love songs on tv. I kept making really dumb comments because I am really tired and when I am tired my dumbness factor goes sky high. And then I went home and took a shower and now I am here. I also got a pretty flower today. Speaking of pretty flowers, my mommy gave me a bouquet of pretty flowers when I made allcounty because I was so mad of the chair I made. Which is weird because I made first chair all state but 6th chair all county. But thats okay with me I am not complaining anymore. I am content wih the world right now.

And so begins my first real blog. My day was.....mediocre. I made all-county, but not what chair I was hoping for. Oh well, maybe next year. And good job to those who did get what they wanted in all-county: Heather, Shannon, Craig, Rebecca, Alyssa 1, Alyssa 2, everybody else who tried out. Everybody but me (and the other losers who didn't quite get what they wanted). Oh woe is me.
Just kiddin. I am happy I made it. I am thankful. My gym coach used to say I was too dramatic.
